The following information has been provided by Bob - KH6ZZ: "I'm happy to report that the AIM4170 does indeed work with my Mac laptop-Parallels-Windows lashup. I share the procedures which led to successful Mac-AIM collaboration in the attachments. Key to success when using Mac (instead of Windows computer) seems to be "Find Com Port" instead of "Assign Com Port" . My Mac is a "bottom of line" laptop. Parallels is latest update of version 2.5. I imagine more powerful Macs and later version of Parallels would work even better. I don't know about other Mac- Parallels combinations. I hope this info will encourage other Mac owners to use this fantastic, magnificent, excellence re-defined AIM4170."
